About Me
My belief is that the client is the expert on their life. The therapist is there to guide and support the client as they develop insight and healthy coping skills which can lead to the real life changes the client desires.
Psychology is an art and a science and I have experience in both. I received a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology and a Master of Arts degree in Counseling Psychology. I was graduated Summa Cum Laude with each degree. I also completed a sub-specialty in Neuropsychology while attending New York University.
While an undergraduate student I won a scholarship to study abroad and traveled to foreign countries in Latin America and Asia where I researched mental health policies and practices. I have also co-presented qualitative research at the professional level in multiple divisions at American Psychological Association conferences.
I would be honored to utilize these experiences and skills in working with you.
